About
About Massage Chair Lab
Massage Chair Lab started as a simple frustration: massage chairs are expensive, the specification sheets are impenetrable, and almost every "review" online is a rewritten product description. We wanted somewhere that explained the difference between an S-track and an L-track in one sentence and then told you which one you need.
How we test
Every guide starts with a long shortlist that we cut down on hard criteria: roller coverage and quality, recline geometry, build materials, noise, warranty terms and how comfortable a product stays across a full program rather than the first two minutes.
- We spend at least a week with a product before it appears in a ranking.
- We score every product in a category against the same checklist.
- We revisit guides when a model is discontinued or replaced.
How we stay independent
We earn a commission when a reader buys through a retailer link, which is what keeps the site running. Brands cannot pay for a place in a ranking, cannot see a review before it publishes, and cannot have a verdict changed. If nothing in a category is worth buying, we say so.
A note on health
Nothing here is medical advice. Massage equipment is comfort and recovery equipment. If you are pregnant, recovering from surgery, or living with a circulatory condition, fracture, or implanted device, speak to your doctor before using any of it.
